There was a crackin' chippy in Loch Street in the eighties. It was called 'Gills'. I can just imagine, barbarabanter's ancestor calling at Gills for a fish, chips and sloppy peys on his way home, in Barracks, and making butties wi'it, aight un three slaaaaices o'whaaaaite breeeeud wi'plenty o'but-teeeer!

Then again, Gills met norr've been theer in them days?
