No, all the houses in Barracks are now gone. Orrell Road is different. You'll see it on
This Old Map, up at the top right hand corner. It's not marked but you can see where it is.
I think others have access to a better map with house numbers on?

Your relatives house would have been where that Asbestos environmental building is now. I used to have some houses round there and my mate, who lived nearby, told me that the boundary of Orrell and Pemberton was down that diagonal road what you can see on the google map. It was him who told me that it was Orrell, not Pemberton.

If you look
HERE, and you see that girl walking along, wearing a red top and carrying a bag of pies? well, that road what she's crossing is the boundary . Pemberton is on the left of the road, and Orrell on the right of it. That white van 'Trust first parts, is parked in (what was) Barracks and is in Orrell. The picture frame shop, on the left, is in Pemberton.
Your ancestors could've spit out of their window into Pemberton!
