You may have been told when the estate was first built they came from all over the Ashton area to live on the estate, new younger children going to rectory and Our-ladies, older ones had already started secondary schools, boy did they stick together no fighting or bulling between them selves on the estate, they stuck like glue at secondary school helping us new starters settle in as up to 20 off the estate would start after the summer holidays, they would never fight your battle but make sure you did a good job by egging you if you got into one
