Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I thought there were two Ronnie Browns at Golborne ? One was an Overman in the Plodder he was nicknamed 'Popeye' and always wore his green mine rescue helmet. The other one was an overman on C9 and he had a brother Billy who drove the Shearer and might have become a deputy later on. Not 100% sure - it has been a while.
