Not looked at the map yet but the main water supply that feeds Milling ford brook comes from the bottom razz overflow at winstanely road this is feed from the Billinge side of the razz,

then it runs through the Dell to the Dam to feed the water mill that was on the other side of Downall green road then off to the skitters wood to form another holding lake the off to Ashton from there
