Janet, I've found their marriage. They married 16/8/1857 at St. Catharine's,Scholes, Wigan.
Henry Lomax 33 Labourer Bachelor of Ince, father James, deceased.
Mary Barton 29 Spinster of Scholes, father Thomas, a labourer
Witnesses James Brindle and Margaret Leonard
Married by Edward Wynne curate.
