Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Hi Bert, thanks for the New Year wishes. May everyone else have them in return. I do look in on this thread on a regular basis, and will post if there is anything.

I do remember Billy Collier. I did not know that 50 years have gone since he passed away. I always remember him coming to the house late one night, after my brother had put young Billy on the Village Clubs floor in the snooker room. I wonder how many other DG:ers remember that? Give him his due, he was very understanding about the whole event, and no more was said of it.

If my memory serves, they did live next door to Dougie, next house down towards the garages.

Was Barry Horton at Dannys funeral?
