Ah, but he did have a "soft" side to him.Two days after the Plodder explosion, I was in the Plodder return at the top of P2 Return heading, doing some survey work for the investigation. He sort of poured his heart out about what had happened and told me about having gone through the same thing before at Hapton Valley.I think that the Golborne explosion affected him deeply and he was a different man after.
