"Work has now started on the first phase of the Swan Pond with the help of Graham Workman (WLCT).
Graham said, we have located the chain that operated the sluice system and repaired the mechanism which now works, and have started to drain the pond. We will be repairing the structure itself to fix the leaks around the brickwork; hopefully once this is done we can start on the next phase of the project."
