Dougie, thanks for posting the factory houses link, I'd missed it last time.

Looking at the map on that link, there is the name Marl Bank, which is new to me. I always thought that the mill was on the other side of the brook (near where the "k" in bank is). On the map, it is shown as being on the other side of the little "one ended" brook, and not in between as I thought.

Is it just my memory playing tricks on where the mill was? Did anyone ever find any photos of the actual mill?
