Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

It was before the paddling pool was built. The same paddling pool which was then filled with sand.

There was no playground as such in that area. But there was an old single decker bus with no glass in it, which the kids played on.

Bus was on a grassed area which is now the fenced off, sand floored, playground.

I'm not sure if there was a lorry there as well.

1960s

Prior to that there was a playground at the front of the hall on what is now the golf course.
