I had mentioned on a previous thread that I could, as a last resort, use the car to stealth camp. Have equipped it with a full sized camp bed, camping quilt and privacy/insulation blinds for the glassware.

However, my intention of achieving cross flow ventilation via windows open a crack, is proving to be inadequate. Too much condensation is occurring.

Heating/cooling/ dehumidifying are high energy consumption. I have no intention of drawing their power from the car's cranking battery, or I risk being stranded.

Stealth camping in the car is never going to be my preferred default. If I have planned accordingly, I will stay in a hotel, or have my tent on board.

However, it comes in for dark skies visits, where camping is not allowed, and turning up at a hotel in the middle of the night is hardly feasible.
