Looked into it miself..... Boat 20 - 30 k for summat decent... Licence fee for waterways... Berthing fees (where you park it) insurance.. Maintainance... Full lift out of water for Hull painting every 4 yrs... Replacement anodes. Running costs.... A four mile trip takes you 2 hrs at four knots... Locks... Pain in backside.... Apart from that... Got miself a static instead.
