According to it's website, the Edge is a Community Performance, Conference Events Centre with a Coffee House which doubles up as a non comformist Church on Sundays.

Perhaps, the Council should be making more use of the new facility by putting on some concerts etc like there used to be at the Mill on the Pier.

My Wife and I used to enjoy the concerts of Johnny Dankworth & Cleo Laine, Alan Price of the Animals, Marion Montgomery with the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchester etc and other music events.

Perhaps even invite organisations to have exibitions and conferences to make better and more use of the facility.
