When me and wife went on a trip to Robben Island an introductory talk was given by a man of Indian heritage. One of his jokes was to ask why Indians are no good at football. The answer was because every time they got a corner they wanted to open a shop.
A former inmate of the prison then took us on a tour of the prison including Nelson Mandela’s cell and later the quarry where he worked.
