The player was Welshman Gerwyn Price, who was playing in a round of the Players Championship at Robin Park Tennis Arena. He walked out of the tournament trailing 4-2 in his match, citing the venue ' less than amateurish ' and too cold. Rather ironic given his playing monicker is The Iceman !!. It's not the first time he's pulled a stunt at a tournament. There was one a while ago where he actually wore ear defenders on stage saying the crowd noise was too loud and they were getting on his case. Ok, Robin Park isn't the Ally Pally and maybe a bit basic, but it's the same for everyone. Maybe he just doesn't like Wigan. The tournament was won by Warrington Lad Luke Littler, who recorded another 9 dart finish in an earlier round, his 2nd this year. Well done lad.
