Floo does kill a lot of people every year, and it is mainly the elderly and people with underlying health problems, but this year with people under lockdown, and the groups of people I have just mentioned self-isolating all year, then the flue is not getting to them is it, so that is why there is a lot less floo deaths, but the deaths from Covid have kept the numbers of death around about the same.
