Funny, when I contacted a relative who lives down south who is also a manager in the administration of the NHS, and asked if what our friend had said was correct, she confimed that it was as the funding of the NHS by whatever political party was in power was not enough for the NHS to cope with the ever increasing and ageing population.

It appears that those involved in the running of the NHS know about what action needs to be taken rather than some who come on here!
