Public sector pension liabilities £1.2 trillion.
State pension liabilities £3.8 trillion.

Healthcare spending 2024 £220 billion.
The number of people employed by the NHS has just passed 2 million.

According to whups the NHS is being starved of money by number 10. With debt interest costing more than defence spending and £ 2.6 trillion of debt it’s difficult to see where more money would come from without taking it from other public spending areas.
