Tom all of the charity shops are getting the same there should be a system where you should be able to offer a price for an item and has long as it is a realistic price then it should be accepted. That is what charity shops where set up for to let people to buy items they can afford and to put money into the charities pockets. I have said before Charities are a multi billion pound industry
