Wigan Infirmary cannot cope now. When Yvonne was admitted at the back end of August she got to the hospital about 2-00pm and was put on a trolley bed on a corridor and the NEXT DAY at Approx 7-30pm she was allocated a bed on MAU ward. Things have not improved and wait till the Covid and Flu Bug takes hold then the hospital will be full of ambulances queueing along Wigan Lane to unload their patients. They sent Yvonne home after 17 days and she still cannot stand and is hoisted out of bed and transferred to her chair in the living room using a wheelchair then hoisted into her chair then in an evening hoisted from her chair back to her bed No O/T's coming till the 9th Oct. Letter of complaint sent to PALS for what good it will do. All the hospital wanted to do was free up a bed
