I've figured out in my recent experience why the A+E are overloaded, .
1. genuine accidents ,
2. care homes not having the right staff so, they send to A+E at the drop of a hat,
3. criminals getting caught, fake a 'condition' so the cops have to take them in, just to buy time and hope to escape,
4, District nurses sending patients in because, they are out of their depth
5. folks can't get a doctor appointment
6. druggies and down and outs seeking methadone and a free coffee and butty,
7. desperate patients in pain from , what ever the reason, no one in their right mind wants to wait in A+E for 12 hours and, that is the wait I've had twice this week,
