Are you for real?
If the NHS send you to a private hospital at no cost to the patient, that is fine. Its covered by your national contribution costs.
On the other hand, Lord Snooty ( who has money ) will pay to get exactly the same treatment , in exactly the same place, with exactly the same consultant so he can get to the front of the queue!

Its a bit like priority boarding and paying for your seats on an aircraft. Why people pay extra for it I don't know as they will all get on the aircraft and be allocated a seat before it takes off without paying extra!
