The chair of Wigan, Wrightington and Leigh NHS, and all similar hospitals,is remunerated on a salary scale of £41,100 to £50,000. Non executive directors get £13,000 per annum.
A salary of £35,000 attracts an employer pension contribution of £7,000 giving an effective salary of £42,000.
