Platty. Just read your comments again. Is it correct that only Manchester Councillors voted in a "Manchester Mayor"?
What was the re action of other Greater Manchester Councils? Did they object?
Sounds like the EEC (Common Market) which morphed into the European Union without the populace being informed or consulted?
