The powers that be want you to stop local so Haigh Hall is local to a lot of people.Same with the canal or Pennington Flash/Three Sisters. Were I live both estates around me have steep slopes so it is hard work in the snow to push the gaffer in her wheelchair.Used to take her along Golborne Road to see the horses but these are in stables during the cold spell. The paths in the park near me are very narrow and half of the path is dirt/grass. Need an all terrain wheelchair which costs thousands of pounds Prefer to just go for a ride in the car but if pulled I dont think We could get away with it being for MENTAL exercise not Physical exercise
