What a load of optimistic shite coming from Wigan council.
"Art Trails"? Wow! Them's going to be really welcomed, eh.?
Ashton is doing ok, at the moment, as it is. And, do you know why it is?
Because there's plenty parking space!
So, the council are saying "we'll use the money to create a multifunctional square area" and "Establishing a
modern market square".
That means stopping car-parking on the market square?

" road safety interventions to the
high street and roads linking into residential areas to
alleviate congestion, balance vehicular movement, and
improve the experience of pedestrians and cyclists around
the town centre and into the square."

"alleviate congestion"? By restricting vehicular movement? That's rich!

Bloody Wigan council clowns, leave Ashton alone!
