I forgot to mention, The price of a pint was NOT in the same theme of the 80's. a 'flat rib' pint of cookin' was £4.50, So after I had had my £9 worth i set off on my bike to find an ice cream because, the temp was 28 degrees, I set off up towards the Morecambe Promenade and asked each ice cream vendor for a, ' two bob cornet' none of the 15 ice cream vendors could offer me that deal. So in the end I welcomed myself back to 2023 and paid £3 for the cheapest cornet but , as the saying goes, Iffen ya dont ask ya dont get,
