I remember when all cars were Black and the doors opened from the front backwards, I remember the first coloured cars, my Scoutmaster had a maroon Vaxhaul Wyvern in the early 50s, and didnt we laugh. The East Lancs road was built near my home, and I used to ride my bike to watch the cars passing, it was like a motorway is today.
