Dark Horse, like I said earlier, get that chip off your shoulder and read, and understand, what I say. I have never put anyone from Wigan down. I do not insinuate cloth cap and clogs wearing, nor shawl and clay pipe. I don't accuse you of chewing tobacco, having no teeth, using dollytub and mangle, tin bath, or anything that seems to be in your subconsious mind. That sort of image died years ago and is only kept alive by people, like yourself, who bring it up to attack anyone who gives their opinion about Wigan. And please, don't tell me where I live. I am aware that Ashton, amongst many other places, is actually in the Borough of Wigan but it is not Wigan, as Astley, at the other end of the borough, is in Salford and as Belfast is not in England even though it comes under English rule.
