Empress, i bet your friends had a good time. You cant beat Wigan hospitality.
When Wigan played Newcastle at home last season,after the match the Geordies had a good old ball in town. I heard one guy who had found some digs for the weekend say he had had a fantastic time in Wigan. There was alot of good natured fun and banter between both set of fans.
Never tried Grimshaws pies. My lot eat Galloways although im partial to Waterfields or Greenhalghs.
