Billy,I think the word you were looking to use was "denigrate",desecrate is more relevant to things such as gravestones or other designated sacred sites.You may even use the word "demean". Anyway I really don't accept him as an Aussie,fair dinkum mate,he doesn't drinka the piss,chasa the pussy or swallow the bullshit although he may spout great quantities of the same.
