I wouldn't support the death penalty - their are too many mistaken identity cases - said this before, can't remember the exact details but a very famous case in the UK where I think 5 innocent Irishmen were stitched up and spent about 20 yrs in prison for something that was later proved they didn't do?? If the death penalty was an option they would have been long gone? They are probably hundreds more like that from before DNA testing.

Here in Australia a freak ran amok a few years ago with automatic weapons at a tourist attraction in Tasmania, and shot dead about 35 people. He, Martin Bryant, a young fella, got life and has tried to kill himself on more than one occasion. Let him suffer every day of his life thinking about the beautiful lives he destroyed.
