I actually think that capital punsihment is no deterrent. I live in Califronia. We have the electic chair, but everyday when you read the paper there are at least a couple of grisly murders. When these vermin are sentenced to death, they then spend the next 15 years on death row with public defenders fighting for their stay of execution. Personally the idea of someone spending day after mindnumbing day in a prison, gives me much more satisfaction. Also there are several cases brought to the attention of the public every few year where the wrong person has been put to death. Unless there is D.N.A evidence you can never be 100% sure that the person you're killing is the guilty one
