General   (General discussion, talk about anything.)

I watched a tv prog the other night and there are whole communities living in areas some as long as 13yrs where they do not speak a word of our language they have their own newspapers and shops and doctors all speaking their own language this is fine if this is their choice but I do object at the thousands of pounds paid from my taxes for interpreters when they need essential services like hospitals for instance I am in no way racist I worked in the NHS and we have some very good foreign staff working in the NHS but when they showed an interpreter being paid to help someone to give up smoking I thought that was taking liberties!
