General (General discussion, talk about anything.)
From the other angle, kiddies dont allus have the parents consent to be out. My three year old granddaughter managed to let herself out of the front door the other week. My daughter thought she had locked the door before going to work and had shouted up the stairs to her husband to get him out of bed. He nodded off again and after waiting half an hour, the tot got bored. She scaled the babygate, went downstairs, used the dog to climb on to reach the catch and out she went. She was found a few hundred yards away. It caused a huge cafuffle and big argument between my daughter and son in law. They are equally to blame, but on the flip side, locking external doors is a no no for the firebrigade too, so you cant win. It was very frikky tho at the time.
