Yes, yoo are right Tom, one day Dave Whelan walked out of the Civic Buildings on New Market Street, the old gas showrooms, when it was council offices, as though he had been to a meeting, he was on his own, shirt sleeves, he wasn't posh, and definitely not snobbish, I will give him that, but he walked across the road and jumped in the taxi, front seat, JJB he says, so I presumed that he meant the stadium, and at the other end, I found out that has well as not being posh or snobbish, he wasn't generous either, he gave me a tenner and waited for his change, and all I got was a "thanks lad" from him
