The Councillor for Ince may have organised the actual protests that involve any action, but the Council and the MP only made token ojections to make the local electorate think that they were opposed to the hotels being used while at the same time knowing full well that they would still continue to be used despite the protest.

And if the cost of housing the illegals was moved from the Hotels to the Councils, the cost would still be borne by those members of the public who pay Income and Council Tax.
