Just been informed that there was an attempted abduction of a dog on Scot Lane Aspull.The would be thieves knocked on a gentlemans door at 9-30 pm at night and demanded he handed over his dog.neighbours came to his rescue on hearing the screams .Two men ran off and got in a dark van.Apparently this isn't a one off incident.Please be very careful when out walking your dogs and don't answer the door to anyone you don't know.Stay safe and keep your dogs safe too.
