I booked the Morris Oxford into a garage for a service and to have a quote for seatbelt fitting as this is mandatory for taxi application, Well, What a fiasco, The garage manager phoned me and asked me to come and remove it, He appointed a qualified Ford technician, John to service the car, John a 32 year old time served vehicle engineer spent the first half hour looking for the plug to input his diagnostic device, When an older mechanic working in the tyre bay told him , they don't have one, he then flattened the battery trying to start the engine to get the car in the workshop, He did't know, you need to pull out the choke, He then spent the rest of the morning looking on youtube for " how to change points" until the manger told him to push it out of the workshop and gave him another car to service,
Anyways I have acquired a Heyes manual and I'll do it myself,
