The 1973 film 'Holiday on the Buses' was filmed at the Pontins at Prestatyn LINK my memories of Prestatyn are from the early to mid 1960s, when me parents had a static caravan at Prestatyn, and although I was very young at the time, I had no recollection of there being a Pontins there, and now I know why, and that is because that Pontins opened in 1971, long after we had gone
