I already went into that years ago. I was given free insulation in my attic, and cavity wall insulation. This was some sort of Governmental Warm Home Scheme and included was a new central heating boiler. My old one was condemned in 2013.

However, when it came to the new boiler, I was denied because .....

Now wait for it .....

I've never claimed any benefits in my life - not a single penny piece - so I didn't qualify for that, so I've had to manage.
