It is a difficult one.

I am, myself, an aged driver, keen to point out we have better safety record than younger drivers.,

But there is no getting away from the fact that we have not got the sharpness we had when we were younger, and SOME seniors do refuse to recognise their limitations and cause dangers to others.

How you restrain this latter group, whilst preserving the freedom of responsible senior drivers poses a significant dilemma. It will be interesting to see what answers emerge.
