Wigan Infirmary needs a Multi Storey car park, in fact it needs a multi storey block, along the lines of Salford Royal, to replace that gothic monstrosity at the front, then they could double the capacity of the casualty department, and add many more beds to the hospital.

But the Wigan Bourgeoisie, the people in high up positions in the council, and a salary to match, they live in that area of Wigan, on Wigan Lane, and they don't want the skyline altered in case it reduces the value of their property, so they veto any proposals for building high rise blocs at Wigan Infirmary, before the proposals get started, and these are the same morons, who don't give a monkeys about destroying the central Wigan skyline, by building 500 flats in high rise blocks, on the old Market Square
