yea I get that Tommy but, it will encourage the parkers to park inside the dotted lines, now they still park with 2 wheels on the pavement and this does not narrow the road, With cars level with the kerbed bays, The road will be narrow and hence slower, hey up listen to this,

a car shooting down Poolstock Lane because its wide with no cars in front, Now when the cars park inside the lines and not on the pavement it will sound like this
