Have you thought it all through GB?

Who will implement and oversee the rules?
What will it all cost and who will pay?
Will the benefits outweigh the disadvantages and what evidence is there to support it?
What are the likely penalties for those who don't follow the rules?
Will there be an age-cut off?
Don't the Government and the Police get enough stick and take enough accusations of oppressiveness as it is without nicking sensible people pottering along on their pushbikes?

You probably haven't noticed but the government are presently trying to make the situation safer for all concerned by increasing cycling infrastructure ie. dedicated lanes and junctions (mocked by many in here I might add) and by the recent highway code changes.

It will never happen!
