In my collection of photographs of Wigan Pubs I have one showing a man and two women stood in the doorway of a pub. The landlord, who I presume is the man on the photograph, is named as William Parkinson, named above the door. On the reverse of the photograph it says RAVEN. It isn't the RAVEN on Wallgate so I am wondering if it could be the RAVEN pub which was in Scholes? Can anyone who has access to the relevant documentation find out when William Parkinson was landlord of the RAVEN pub, and where it was. I would guess the date of the photo is around the 1900'S?
Thanks
