Tonks - hasn't Bulb gone bust? 19 domestic fuel companies have gone bust over the last 4 months. Costs are due to get worse in April. When a company takes over customers from the bust companies, the new company has to go out and buy fuel for their new customers, such fuel price has rocketed as we've all seen. Ofgem has imposed a levy on all suppliers to share the cost of these companies baling out the busted ones and, I read, that the cost of that and the prices of buying the extra fuel is going to hit the consumer in April.
And of course the increase for the green loonacy.
