I do not post very often but something that concerns me more and more is the nastiness in our society and even more sad is that it happens on this very site as well. I hope I do not look back with 'rose tinted' glasses but it seems that society has developed to now air any disagreements with venomous comments and which then turns into violence and ever increasing threatening actions and words. I believe one major factor in this expression of hate is social media which has many blessings for us but sadly can be used to promote violence and trouble (Wigan v Bolton last Saturday). Please can we use this and similar sites to the advantage of everyone and for the good of all rather than promoting ill will. We should not need Admin to police the messages but as responsible citizens ourselves have the highest standards and stand up for good and honesty.
