I agree, I think if it is done right, it could be a very good place to have the Market Hall, because has well as the stalls, some of the units will be used to replace the kiosks around the present Market Hall, and when it was made into Marketgate, from the old Wigan Centre, a lot of work was done on it then, the glass roof was added, and the moving walkways were replaced with proper escalators, and it has its own service area on the roof, and because the trading area and footfall as migrated to the top of the town, with the Grand Arcade etc, Marketgate is part of the top end of the town centre, and it is handy for the bus station too
